Challenge

Oncam provides a market–leading technology platform utilising 360 degree camera technology – negating the need for traditional PTZ cameras and maintaining total situational awareness at all times. The challenge was to design a universal mobile app that taps into the platform on the go – simply and intuitively.

Solution

The creation of a simple, clutter free user–centred experience with fully manipulable, on the fly de-warping via the touch interface. OnVu360 is a world’s first: A mobile application that enables users to fully experience surveillance through 360 degrees, in full HD and in the palm of your hand.

 

Results

A centre–piece technology demonstrator and provisioning tool. Over 100,000 combined iOS and Android downloads and counting.
